The entry fee for the 2008 Sudden Impact Tournament Series
will be -
$375 per event for 3 angler team. A late fee of $50 will
be assessed to any payment received 7 days of the event.
•
All anglers are required to follow all applicable federal,
state and local rules & regulations (laws). Any violations
may result in disqualification for that particular event
or expulsion from all future tournaments.
•
Wading is permitted. Boat must be in idle speed when waders
are out of boat.
•
Anglers may fish anywhere on tournament waters accessible
by boat - except areas designated as "off-limits"
or "no fishing" by local, state or federal officials.
Teams may not fish within 50 yards of a competitor's boat.
•
Weigh-Ins will be as follows: Snook 28" to 33"
with a pinched tail, Redfish 18" to 27" with a
pinched tail, Trout a minimum of 15". Released and
swim away under own power.
•
No angler may hand or force feed any tournament fish. Tournament
officials have the right to examine a fish if they feel
it has been altered in any way.
•
All fish must be caught by rod, reel, hook and line. Line
and leader is angler's choice.
•
No chumming or holding of holes at anytime for other teams.
•
No outside assistance whatsoever during tournament hours.
No boat to boat transfers of any kind after start.
•
Live or artificial bait may be used at any Sudden Impact
Tournament Series event.
•
No angler may fish in the confines of any commercial marina.
A commercial marina is defined as any marina with one (1)
or all of the following: Guide Boats, Boat Ramp, Fuel Dock,
Bait Tanks, or a Sign Stating "Marina".
•
This is a catch and release tournament. All fish must be
released alive after weigh in. Each fish must swim away
under its own power. Weighmaster is the final decision maker.
•
Weigh In is from 9:00am to 4:00pm. All teams must be checked
in or inside Burnt Store Marina by the 4:00pm deadline.
•
The tie-breaker (for any place) will be the team that weighs
in first.
•
Any team which finishes in the top 5 is subject to a Polygraph test. Failure to be available for the test is grounds for disqualification.
•
Protests are allowed up to 30 minutes after the last boat
weighs in. All protests must be accompanied by $300. If
protest is upheld, the fee will be returned.
•
Unacceptable Behavior - All Sudden Impact Tournament Series
participants will conduct themselves in a sportsman-like
manner during all tournament activities. Any misconduct
towards staff members, Burnt Store employees, or fellow
competition will not be tolerated - period.
